TRUTH COMING OUT IN CLIFTON PARK TOWN HALL CONFLICT

The town of Clifton Park has been embroiled by a feud between Supervisor Barret and three members of the Town Board.

Hats off to the Daily Gazette for determining who is the cause for the allegation regarding a toxic work environment at Clifton Park town hall.

The three councilwomen, Standaert, Walowit, and Flood, led the public to believe the toxic work environment was caused by Supervisor Phil Barrett.

It was revealed when the Daily Gazette submitted a FOIL request that the allegation was against Highway Superintendent Dahn Bull.

What is concerning is why would three councilwomen insist on an outside investigation then do a turn around at the June 13th town board meeting and vote against hiring a hearing officer regarding the disciplinary action against a town employee?

Supervisor Barrett and Councilman Morelli both voted yes for the hearing. A hearing would determine if the disciplinary action was justified or not.

It is apparent Councilwomen Standaert, Walowit, and Flood are protecting an employee who is neglecting his duties and preventing the truth to come out.

The employee is not Dahn Bull.

Sources say it’s the same employee who alleges Supervisor Barrett put his hands on him.

There were no marks on the employee and no witnesses.

The employee decided to make this allegation against Supervisor Barrett after receiving a serious disciplinary action.

Interesting how three councilwomen pick and choose when it is necessary to hire an outside firm.

Or deceive the residents in believing Supervisor Barrett is the blame for a toxic work environment when it was in fact it was Highway Superintendent Dahn Bull.

Are they afraid the truth will be revealed it was warranted for the employee to receive a disciplinary notice for neglecting his duties and out of revenge falsely accused Supervisor Barrett of putting his hands on him?

Its offensive these councilwomen think the public is that stupid. Supporting an employee who isn’t doing his job because you like him is not what is expected of any town board member.

This might be what they mean by protecting employees however, any employee is expected to perform their assigned duties in their job description.
